The Blog Stump

The occasional thoughts of a peripatetic mind from 'the Athens of the South' (Adelaide, South Australia). The blog's title derives from the Australian expression 'beyond the black stump', meaning that it's beyond 'civilisation'. The tree stump is also a traditional 'soapbox' from which orators of both good and evil intent have delivered their messages.
